Clondalkins Mens Shed, Become Custodians Of CASP Garden 2019
CASP have had a garden and polytunnel for many years, which served as a meeting place and activity centre for different groups who attend the service. In 2018, with the finishing of CE scheme, CASP where no longer able to give the garden the attention and or maintain up-keep that it deserved and in a joint initiative with SDCP and some discussion the men’s shed agreed to take the project on as a community project.
The agreement reached was that CASP could still use the garden and that our Family Day would still be afforded the use of the garden each year. The garden was prepared and presented for the day in pristine condition and CASP would like to take this opportunity to thank all the gentlemen involved and are looking forward to the incredible hard work and busy planting that is taking place at the moment.
